L'Audi 200 Quattro Trans AM del 1988 nacque per competere nell'omonimo campionato americano SCCA, ma nel 1992 questa specifica configurazione corse nel Wesbank Modifieds Championship in Sudafrica sotto la guida del pilota Terry Moss. La vettura reale è spinta da un motore a 5 cilindri in linea da 2,1 litri (2110 cc) con testata a 5 valvole per cilindro, sovralimentato mediante un turbocompressore KKK. Questa unità termica è in grado di sviluppare oltre 510 CV di potenza, scaricati su tutte e quattro le ruote tramite la trazione integrale permanente Quattro e un cambio manuale a 6 marce, una soluzione tecnica che garantiva un'aderenza superiore rispetto alle concorrenti a trazione posteriore.
La replica statica prodotta da Werk83 in scala 1:18 è realizzata con carrozzeria in metallo pressofuso (die-cast) combinata con inserti in materiale plastico. Il modello riproduce la livrea Rothmans con gli sponsor Wesbank dell'epoca. L'abitacolo da corsa è visibile attraverso i cristalli in plastica trasparente, mettendo in mostra il sedile anatomico a guscio, il roll-bar integrale di sicurezza e la strumentazione essenziale da competizione.
