L'Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce fa il suo esordio nel 1956 come versione alleggerita e potenziata della classica Sprint disegnata da Bertone. Il motore bialbero da 1290 cm³, equipaggiato con due carburatori a doppio corpo Weber, eroga 90 CV consentendo alla coupé di raggiungere i 180 km/h. Per massimizzare le prestazioni nelle competizioni, la vettura fu sottoposta a una drastica cura dimagrante che prevedeva l'utilizzo di alluminio per portiere e cofani, oltre alla sostituzione dei cristalli laterali e del lunotto posteriore con elementi in plexiglass (Perspex), riducendo il peso complessivo di oltre 70 kg rispetto alla versione normale.
Il modello espositivo proposto in scala 1:43 è realizzata in metallo die-cast e si presenta verniciata in una raffinata colorazione d'epoca azzurro chiaro lucido. La configurazione statica chiusa senza parti apribili protegge l'armonia della linea laterale.
